and healthy living. The magazine covers local and national fashion trends, beauty and relationship tips, as well as health and lifestyle advice.

 

      The correct pronunciation of ACHI is "Aah Chee". The word ACHI has different meanings in different languages. In Chinese

Achi means big sister. In Nigerian ACHI means strength and in Arabic ACHI simply means sisterhood. Based on these

The Purpose - To honor the contributions of extraordinary women working in various fields throughout the Hampton Roads area and beyond. Our goal is to celebrate the spirit of womanhood and to give encouragement to those women who would follow.

 

The Mission – To inspire, empower, encourage and to educate the minds of women from all races, cultures and creeds.

 

The Criteria – Women who, through consistency and longevity, have achieved success in a chosen profession or career are eligible for consideration. Potential honorees are those persons who are viewed not only for what they have individually achieved but also for the achievement they inspire in others.
